    They are two slots with 1 stone everywhere. Plus one wood gate in the center.

    Wouldn’t the right side be better with mantlets against ranged ?

    Ran a bare commander using both arrangements- Mantlets v. Ladders to the right. Mantlets win out against the ranged defenders (had one loss on right w/ladders and none with mantlets). So he is correct in his layout, except…

    Be sure to send a total of 3 waves (not just 2) down the flanks to reduce losses in the courtyard. With barebones commander, using this arrangement, lost 3 in yard, 1 on left so anything should do better.
