You can produce some types of tools, using resources, or buy other types, using rubies.
Tools are divided into two categories: Offensive and defensive.
Offensive tools are produced by Siege_Workshop.
Defensive tools are produced by Defense_workshop.
Some special tools can only be purchased, with rubies, from the Armorer, who appears occasionally, as an Event.
Tools are very important. The use of proper tools dramatically affects the outcome of a battle, causing great casualties to the opponent. Some players underestimate the power of tools and then they wonder, what went wrong.

Im wondering about Ballast Stones, I was playing around with them but I couldn’t get them to decrease the travel time as it says they do
You have to include at least one in your attack formation and you will be way slower than regular. The attack will be approx 2.5 times slower with the coin stone than with regular shields example normal attack with vet soldiers 10m 42s with shields 20m and with rock 50m
got it, thanks, i also didn’t realize that they decreased travel speed, not time of travel
Is there a good forum on tool and troop set up for attacks or defense? Somewhere with details on figuring out the mathematical set up? IE, 3 slits = 210% bonus to Range, plus base line 100%, plus Cast bonus = S+B+C so use ? Shields or similar? Does the Wall bonus factor in?How do you factor Melee?
